Day 2 and Day 3 of 2011 cleared!

living day by day slowly and dealing with whatever i encounter at that time
it hasn't been too bad lately in 2011!
a good start! I hope ill stay this happy!

Monday
Met up with kailin at clementi and went to get some KOI
first time im trying it, actually I dont see whats the big hype about it
but still it tasted yummy, ill rate koi 8/10 compared to normal bubble tea which is 6/10
I like the fact that the sugar levels can be controlled =)

after that headed to my old condo to play MJ at shuana's place!
played round 1 with sandy, shuana and kailin
and round 2 kailin left so vanessa took over!

had a fun game tho i lost $11
it was a great feeling catching up with my girls
after all we have all been friends for years
and was nice reminiscing and catching up
was nice to see that after all we've been through, we were still sitting there happily playing mj with each other

despite different paths we all took
we were still a big part of each other's past
and I treasure them heaps!

got home around 12 .

TUESDAY
met naomi for jap buffet!
eat til we exploded!
but seriously, cine jap buffet is the BEST and most worth it
rate 8.5/10

after that met up with debbiem nigel and co. for abit
before meeting Shuana and Nelson at far east to do lash extension!

wa let me tell you lash extension was a huge experience !
MY ADVICE : wear contact lenses when getting an eye lash extension
it makes it less painful!

my eyes were burning for like an hour
and it was red!
i thought i was going blind!
but no worries, its normal LOL

had supper at Swensens after that

had 2 super simple yet fun and happy days =)
I enjoy the simple bliss of being around old friends

010110 skating!

First day of the new year! spent with old friends~

I already blogged about this previously without pictures
but I really had fun!
had dinner at old airport road with the skaters after as well!

I actually love the simple things in life, like eating at hawker centers with my friends
enjoying hardcore singaporean style food
yes its hot and we get sticky and sweaty,

but being away from sg makes me appreciate the things that makes sg special

and eating late night hawker food is the best!
Gabriel da pao'ed hokkien mee for me 2 night ago
and it was the best feeling in my tummy =) and in my heart too

NYE at Butter!

as you would have all known by now,
I spent NYE at Butter and had the best time!
as with all the NYEs all plans were very last min
nth ever went to original plan
etc etc .

but thank you DJ Andrew T for putting us on the guest list despite my last min request!

I didnt have very high expectations for the night
esp since we decided to celebrate it at the club

my mind set was just "lets go get drunk and dance our way into 2011"
But I had a blast and so did all my friends!

met up with the girlies at city hall
and we were waiting for my lil bro Nigel who was as usual late
so despite us being "tourist" as I would like to call us in sg

we some how managed to walk and make our way to butter
met up with Nigel and Benny there

it was mad crazy packed since 8.30 and we got there around 9 ish

they had a stupid barrier block off the 4 seperate lines area
so anyone who came late and didnt get through that barrier had to line up in one big gigantic line

I was sooo pissed!
I went to complain saying "im on the guest list dont make me line up with normal people"

I felt even more sorry for ppl with VIP table reservations who had to wait

but long story short, they finally came to their senses and let the important people in
and stopped cover charge entries for the count down
well done (y)

although my 2 Nigel and Benny were part of the cover charge crowd
lets just say we managed to pull some strings and we all got in
YAYY
we even made a group of new friends along the way !

It was AWESOME
the VIP area was like nearly empty as opposed to normal wed nights
and the club was basically most only Guest list, VIP, table reservations and pre sale tickets crowd!

so nice and exclusive I LOVE IT
we got to watch the fire works
and we bought a bottle of Martel
sponsored by me and Nigel

I even gave a glass of Martel to Andrew T =)
Jasmine and Nicole bought us a jug of jager red bull
and christy and co. had never ending champaigne and what not

didnt take many pictures that night cuz I was too busy having fun
