DAY 1
went to the air port at 4am in the morning
got our tickets, checked in our bags etc
my luggage weight was 14 kg! omg! haha
plane ride was pretty fun
im used to planes really
brogan kirstie and co. was like super scarred
so i kept disturbing them,
shaking their chairs saying its terbulance .. LOL
reached sydney in the afternoon
it was SUPER HOT
so everyone like started striping and complaining
the airport was damm packed
with all the pilgrims etc
very exciting to see all the canadians and americans at the airport with us
went to the meeting hall where we collected our super ugly WYD backpacks and passes
had pizza for lunch
and played around in the playgroud
while mr klien happyly sat there knitting lmao!
we found out we were getting home stayed
i went with annette
our host familiy is super nice
and their house is damm cute too

beef caserol, beans, mashed potato, bread, strawberry, juice, magnum ice cream
and after that we had tea and tim tams while watching bigbrother

DAY 2
got up at 7 prepared and we went to the meeting hall
it was SUPER FREEZING in the morning
teachers told us this is an PILGRIMAGE not a HOLIDAY
and hence we are PILGRIMS and not TOURIST
and seriously, she was not kidding
OMG public transport all the way
im not kidding
super packed with pilgrims from all over the world as well
i was like WTF
so we bus-ed and then train-ed to the city
THE TRAIN WAS DOUBLE DECKER MAN
sydney is like super futuristic
singapore should have double decker mrts
seeing as you know, the MRTs are like super full??
stairs to go down in the train
chatted with some people from Chili along the way =DD

it was damm fun chilling and chanting

after that we had macdonalds for lunch

the boys ate like 7 BURGERS ALL TOGETHER
i just had a fish burger and free apple pie
pretty good deal
we sat around sun tanning
and then proceeded on our "pilgrimage" to barangaroo for the opening ceremony
we were like marching for nearly an hour
the roads we closed for us
there were people singing and chating and shouting screaming running with their flags
it was CRAZY
i LOVED IT!
tom nearly got lost so Mr klien tied Tom to him =x

WE FINALLY REACHED THE FESTIVLE!

so the italian guys ( one of their names was stefano ) ask us to sit with them on their matts

they could speek not bad english i guess
bt they were mostly babbling in italian
me and Charlot guess they were up to something =x
after then opening ceremony ended we said bye bye to them
gave them hugs and blow kisses
and the stefano kissed me on the cheek =DD
we exchanged e-mails with them
altho i dont think i will be e-mailing them
cause their engliah is not very good and all
and then we took some group photos
which are yet to be uploaded
after that met some spanish guys
chatted with them
they were pretty cool
paisley fell in love with one of them
they were all 18-20 super good looking and spoke hell good english

after that they left and gave us kisses on the cheeks too
ew my ugly WYD backpack.. LOL
we went to the concert after that
guy sabastian was singing
it was all pretty cool
me and charlot met these posh england guys along the way

then we watched the fireworks and went home around 12 plus

DAY 3 16th July
we had 3 hour cathecises in the morning
OMG damm boring
i was falling asleep
so i sms darling
and then i started drawing the preist who was talking
along with some other random stuff
had BBQ after
while eating this chick runs from the Q line up to me and says
" erm you are showing.. " *points at my ass*
LMAO
so i just said thanks
after she left my group burst out laughing
we are the most un-religous bunch amost the rest of the pilgrims
so when our butt cracks are showing because our jeans is low cut
its perfectly normal =x
" yes thats how we do it in australia mate "
but everyone became selfconcious after that
so we put our bags behind our ass so no one can see =x
pretty much wasted the rest of the day
walked around and shopped abit
yeah sports bar
circus!
and then went to this cool cinema place
met this american rapper
he rapped he rosery
it was pretty sik
we bought his cd
took pics
and got his signature
he gave us a beach ball to play with
so we enteretained ourselves with that for awhile
after that we saw this pretty girl in a RED BULL CAR
we were all super exhuasted and chased after the car to get some red bull
YEAHH RED BULL
we got free red bulls
it was the higlight of the day
after that we went to BONDI BEACH
YEAHHH BONDI
from the show " bondi resque "
too bad it was at night
hence no lifeguards there
damm it

tom and i were like busting to go toilet
so once the bus stopped we RANNNN to go find a toilet
after that me and brogan went shopping ourselves for abit
met some cool sydney asian pilgrims
they wanted us to sigh their bags and take pics with them
i felt so famous =DD
bought a I LOVE SYDNEY top for me and a Bondi beach magnet for my mum
went to the rapping preist concert after that
and met some lebanon peeps
had dinner with the girls
and then there were alot of guys outside the window giving us thumbs up and cheering etc
and then we looked at them and said

walked around after dinner
and took pics with the canberra boys
its soo cool being a pilgrim
the pass we had
is like a pass to be crazy and talk to anyone and treat everyone like we have known each other for ages =D
trained back and had a party in the train with other pilgrims
spoke to some cool colerado peeps
told them " I lOVE AMERICA! "
played around at the bus station and then as usual went home damm late
DRAMMA MOMENT
laura wanted to meet this guy who she met on the internet and nver seen before
and like lied to the teachers and paisley that they are her family friends
she made paisley go with her
and like she screwed paisley so bad
the guys didnt turn up
laura and paisley got lost
and their phones ran out of battery because laura was being stubbourn
and their host families kicked them out =((
we were all damm pissed with laura for being such an ass
and getting paisley into so much shit
sms-ed paisley at night to make sure she was alright
DAY 4 17th JULY viva la papal
we found out we were in section A today
like super close to the stage
like ultimate gold class tickets man
had to go through sooo much security checks
and then THE POPE ARRIVED
on his boat.. teehees
it was cool
didnt get much good pics tho
the energy there was awsome
everyone was chating

saying mr klein was in market street instead
so off we went to market street
met this amrican guy on the way there and tayla and i chatted to him while walking there
forgot his name, BUT I SWEAR HE WAS HIGH ON DRUGS
it was soooo funny talking to this high american
he was 24
and then i said " yeah im 26...... in 10 years LOL "
and he was like " so how old are u now?"
me " 26-10 = 16 LOL do the math man"
then we talked about americas driking age
and like drinking had no age limit in italy
then he suddenly said
" girls you know what.. drinking is bad man.. is like damages your brain and stuff"
and this nerd friend went on and on about the brain etc
haha it was nice meeting them

went we got to market place guess what??

i lost it and started screaming at the teachers
after tt they let us go shopping but all shops were already closed =_=

after that we chilled at chats wood waiting for the "darling habour krew" to get back

DAY 5 18th July
cathecisis again was boring
so me and brogan escaped to the playgroud outside
went to toilet, had a drink
and then play atound at the playgroud (what rebels)
and then we saw a sydney boy playing with this lil kid ( he got bored too)
chatted with him for abit
he asked if we wanted to play together with the lil boy
i was like " no thanks, im not very good with kids"

i got a french connection top
i swear that 1 hour where we were aloud to shop
us bunch of privet school rich kids went crazy
came back with all the branded stuff

and then the funniest thing happen!
charlotte and steph were in the sit next to me
and there was this super giant mosquito flying around
it would go past a few people
they took their shoes of and lightly tried to hit the mosquito with it
they all miss
all of a sudden it flutters to where steph was
she shoved all her shopping bags to charlot
put her hand in a fist and starts BANGING LIKE CRAZY trying to kill the mosquito
missing everytime
she even lean into other people's seat to try and get it
everyone stared at her in shock
me and charlot cracked up laughing
and steph sit back down very normally and continue eating her cake
LOL
got home and packed for the next day
DAY 6-7 the sleepout
woke up at 4.30 just to shower and wash my hair
and i was very delighted to boast about it to everyone in the bus
cluad said " aw thats so cute how she gets excited about washing her hair"
yeah boy.. haha
we were all cramped into one public bus
together with 2 group of americans
like omfg
with our sleeping bags etc
it was 10 mins on HELL in the bus
then we went on the 7km walk to the race course!

at night after the mass was over i was damm tired

and we were ready to PARRRTYYY
went to a RAVE
and alot of ppl had signs for free hugs
so we played with them
went in a super long free hugs line
the like lifted me up in the air
damm funny met these 3 guys
first said to me

next day
BONJOUR! thinking i was french
the last guy said
"guys! CLEARLY shes australian, she kinda gave it away with the aussie attitude and bogan-ness (chor lor)" supposedly aussies are very "chor lor"

they were cool
got alot of compliments that night
some on my necklace
and had alot of fun too
party-ing that night and seeing the singaporeans there being so BORING
i realise i would quite fit in with them
i guess singaporean catholics are not as crazy as us =x
and met this guy with cool teeth that lighted up
he had this mouth guard thing in
bt he had the sweetest smile ever
and more aussies! yeah!

NEXT MORNING
woke up
still damm tired
lazed around and after breakfast i went to toilet by my self
when i came out i realised the pope had arrived and the locked us in the area saying we cannot cross until the pope passes
so there i was all alone
saw some italians running
so i ran with them
and I SAW THE POPE IN HIS BULLET PROOF MECESDES BENZ
i was like so close
but i didnt have my camera with me
i was soooo annoyed
after that i ran to get my camera and chased the pope with the italians around the race course
just hoping to get a pic
but me being short, didnt get any good pics unfortunately =(
after that they announced where the next WYD will be held
IN SPAIN BABY!!
in 3 years time
i'll be 18 already

but i'll be in singapore by then =(
it will be diff going with singapore ppl
here when ppl ask me where im from i usually tell them
